Guest Designer for Coffee loving papercrafters blog - Copictopia Creative Christmas Hot Cocoa Cups

Hi everyone! Today I am very excited to be a guest designer  for Coffee  Lovin Paper Crafters Blog. For my project I've made a cute card featuring Copictopia Creative's Christmas Hot Cocoa Cups Clear Stamp Set!

For my project I created a card and a matching Hot Cocoa Surprise Box.

I made this with:

This card is super easy and fun to make!

~ First I used a 5 1/2 by 4 1/4 white card base.

~ Then I cut a blue piece of paper slightly smaller than the card base and glued it on.

~ I embossed some textured paper with the first layer of the marshmallow stencil on a die cut machine, and then used the second layer with walnut stain distress ink.

~ After that, I cut a blue square, and a white square (slightly smaller than the blue). I curved the edges with a crop-a-dile corner chomper and glued them together. I took a couple of sticky foam squares to pop up the paper so it would have a little depth.

~ For the sentiment, I used walnut stain distress ink to stamp it. I think it looks so much cuter than regular ink! With scissors, I cut out a flag for the sentiment, and a bigger blue one for the background.

~ When your all done with that, pop up your cute little coco cup and stick him on! And you can add sparkles! Sparkles make everything better!

Now for the box!!

~ I used a chipboard box from Hobby Lobby and cut all four sides off. I wrapped each square in paper and left a little paper on the bottom so it would connect to the bottom peice of the box. Once I was done wrapping it, I glued it and used tear tape.

~ For the lid, I didn't cut it up, but I also wrapped that in paper.

~ On the inside I made cute little pockets for Swiss miss packets! All I did was trace the packet on some textured paper, and left a little room on the sides so it would have that pocket shape.

~ For the little box of Marshmallows, I measured the inside so it would fit in between the pockets. On textured paper, I drew a box and cut it out. On the fold-ie parts of the box, I put tear tape and stuck it on there!

~ On the sides, I used the Raining Marshmallows stencil to give the box a lil more pizazz!

~ I also drew by hand a cute little tag on some textured paper, and used the Raining  Marshmallows stencil. I popped up a white circle and another cute coco cup!

Once your all done, you can tie it up with a cute bow!

I hope you enjoyed these projects! I had so much fun making them!
